We went to Grangeville for Christmas this year. We had a lot of fun, except that Aiden, Kyler, and Darren all got the stomach bug on Christmas day. Everyone still had fun though. Aiden and Kyler woke up at 5:30 am and were so excited to open presents. Especially Aiden, he would open one present and then immediately say "Ok open another one!" The kids got mostly clothes, but that is ok because they have enough toys! Darren and I got some tea, coffee, clothes. I got a really nice new snowboarding jacket, I was so excited because I needed a new one and we were planning on going snowboarding the next day. Great grandmas and great grandpas showed up for Christmas dinner and gave the boys some really cute fleece blankets. The next day while the kids were napping we got to go snowboarding for half day. Juanita (Darren's mom/Nonie) works at Snowhaven, a little ski hill 7 miles up the hill from Grangeville, so we got to go free. We had a blast, except for the part where the tee-bar dislocated my shoulder and made me fall off. It's fine now just really sore. The kids got to go sledding down Nonie and Papa's driveway. They also got pulled around by the ATV on the sleds. They had so much fun! I also got to spend some time with my mom. We went out to lunch and rented a movie and played games. It was so nice to get away from the city and retreat to the mountains.
