Enjoying Spring!
Yesterday Darren and I went on a date, that hardly cost anything! All I had to do was buy a fishing license, my first ever I might add. We went drove towards Elk City and then hiked up the McAllister hiking trail. We hiked up for about 45 minutes and then took 1/2 hour to come down. I NEVER go hiking but I did better than I thought I would and had SO much fun! Then we went to an awesome fishing spot along the river that Darren found. My first time actually fishing, ever, and I caught 16 fish!!! I even beat Darren by 1 fish! It was so much fun! One advantage to living up here is how easy it is to drive 10 minutes down the mountain and go hike and fish for a few hours then come home.
