My Fitness Pal

Ok, so I know that I haven't lost any weight since I weighed myself last Saturday but I feel thinner! I woke up this morning feeling thin! It felt good! It is so nice to have those feelings because it helps give me motivation to keep going! Two friends of mine suggested I try My Fitness Pal free online exercise and calorie tracker. So I signed up! I actually like it a lot more than I thought I would. Upon sign up I typed in my goals for weight loss and for exercising and then gives me a calorie limit.

My Goals:
Lose one pound per week. Work out 5 days a week for thirty minutes. I kept my goals small and attainable so if it is higher than I feel more accomplished!

I am allotted 1430 calories for the day. The cool thing is the more I work out, the more calories I get added to my allotted for the day! I've been trying to get about an hour of exercise every day so I usually am able to eat more than my 1430, sometimes I do let myself have a little more and sometimes I don't. When I do I try to make it something healthier. The nice thing is that I now know that doing what I'm doing should get me to at least lose a pound a week. And it has given me the motivation to work out I needed! Another cool thing about it is at the end of the day when you submit your report for the day, it says "If every day were like today you would weigh .... in five weeks." Which is really neat to see and gives me even more motivation.

I have never been one to want to count calories. But this has actually helped make me more aware of what I'm eating and what I need to eat more of. So Thank You my Ashley Klein and Ashley Pineda! Also thank you so much Crystal and Carisa for your words of support! It really does make it easier to get motivation when you have a cheering section. :)
